Department of Special Services
Our Mission
The Office of Student Services supports all students by addressing barriers to learning and enhancing healthy development. The department supervises the identification of students for Special Education, Intellectually Gifted, and Section 504 services. The Office of Student Services is committed to the success of each student, spearheading programs to complement the learning that takes place in the classroom and enhance the overall education experience.
Records Request
District and School Request:
Send request on your district letterhead or school letterhead to ppigott@npsd.k12.ms.us
Parent or Legal Guardian Request:
For students who currently attend a school in the North Pike School District. A records request can be made in person at the school your child attends by completing a Records Request form. Please be prepared to show appropriate identification when making the request. After the written request is received, within seven days you will be notified of where you can pick up the copy of the records you requested or how you can access the records.
For students who previously attended the NPSD and received support through Special Services and currently live outside of the local district area. Please complete a Records Request form which can be found under Forms on this page and provide a copy of a state issued ID by mail or email to Paige Pigott, NPSD Special Services Director at her contact information noted on this page. Once received, a staff member will contact you to verify identification and confirm the requested information.

North Pike Special Services Director, Paige Pigott, pictured in center was named the Mississippi Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) President- Elect for 2023-2024. Ms. Pigott previously served on the Board as Vice President for the 2022-2023 year. The CEC is the largest international and national organization which advocates for supports, services, and funding for students with disabilities. Additional staff attended the MS 2023 Conference in Tupelo, MS in late August. These staff are Ashton Dickerson and Candice Reid from North Pike Elementary and Lauren Norman and Monica Watts from Special Services.
